The history of the label:
Astreo (Αστραιος), God of the homonymous south wind, carried with him heat and rain. Like all winds it was ruled by Aeolus. He lived in the deep south and had such a burning breath that he burned cities and vessels with it. Writings of the ancient Romans tell that the sailors at sea had special prayers for the various winds, of the lullabies that had to put them to sleep or raise them. It was also customary to dedicate a cup of wine or cider to them by spilling it into the sea. The sailors call him Ostro. In his Georgics, Virgil calls it "the Black Austro".
Astreo, the "Nero Austro" dry and very hot like our wine.
