The Teramane Hills
In a territory outside the main tourist flows, therefore even more fascinating to discover, a hilly path winds its way, a natural balcony between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso d'Italia, which, starting from the border with the Marche, reaches the province of Pescara .
The climate, the soil and the hills of our Teramana province are the unique mixture for the best microclimate. A strong temperature range contributes to maintaining the right balance throughout the year.
Abruzzo
In this wonderful territory, on the green hills of Cerrano, not far from the Adriatic Sea, surrounded by the evocative Calanchi di Atri, facing the sleeping giant, the Gran Sasso D'Italia is our company.
The sleeping Giant
The highest mountain in central Italy 2912 meters.
These are the Teramane Hills, an artistic and historical route of considerable interest, an itinerary through unusual paths scattered with Abbeys, Romanesque and Baroque churches, archaeological museums (the Campli one is remarkable), and Necropolis such as that of Campovalano of the VII century BC. Countless are the villages and with them the medieval villages that preserve numerous valuable monuments, but also cities of Roman age such as Atri and Teramo (the latter with the remains of the amphitheater of the third and fourth centuries and the splendid cathedral that stands between two squares .
This territory is the setting for the astonishing spectacle of our vineyards, cared for in the same way as wonderful gardens and as a stage for the celebration of wines that in recent years have gained notoriety and obtained the appreciation of enthusiasts on an international level: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOCG Teramo hills.
